OII FAQ
Answers to frequently asked questions about the Organizational Identity Index (OII) assessment.
Q: What is this, and why are you doing it?
A: We found a major contributor to project failure, team dysfunction, and poor execution of strategy. The problem was right in front of our eyes, but we didn’t see it until data showed provided this new insight. The Organizational Identity Index (OII) assessment identifies how your organization approaches strategy, people, resources, and innovation. It’s quick, non-invasive, and insightful. Without leadership alignment, strategic deployment becomes a costly exercise in misfire, effort without effect, motion without meaning.
Q: How do I know if my team is aligned or not?
A: Key insights are discovered by evaluating how key leaders perceive the identity of the organization, what drives decision-making, and forward momentum at its core. The survey assesses which of the 16 organizational profiles you perceive as best aligned with the current organization. The magic is in comparing your results with the results of other leaders on your team!
Q: There has to be more to it than a 2-minute survey, right?
A: Taking the Organizational Identity Index (OII) assessment and reviewing your results is the first step. If you like what you see, encourage others on your team to complete their own OII assessment. Once you are ready to evaluate the results of your team, book a call with us to review your findings.
Q: What happens after I take the OII assessment?
A: The OII is the first of three Journey assessments created to provide rapid, data-driven insights on how your organization approaches strategy, implementation, people, and money. After reviewing your collective results, you can choose to move forward with the other two assessments.
Q: What are the other two assessments?
A: The second is the Organizational Change Capacity (OCC) assessment, and the final is the Operational Maturity Index (OMI) assessment.
